Ideally you could fly in to a mob, drop Gravity Well, switch modes and obliterate everything before going back to science mode and repeating. The only thing hampering it really is the buggy Tactical Mode switching. The Montgomery is pretty nimble, especially with the Competitive engines, so training cannons on the target hasn't been a problem. I have to say, I'm having a lot of fun with this. I did at least re-engineer all the guns for more crit chances.

I considered staying with Bellum science consoles for more CrtH, but I felt I was doing the concept a disservice without going full Proton. It's not so important as to spend any dil on it. The consoles are a tad aspirational, as I'm loading it up opportunistically from Dyson rep boxes. I didn't really feel like respec'ing for a just-for-fun build. That's why the skill tree is the way it is. Also for my own reference as this is a secondary build, and I'll probably switch back to my primary science-y carrier soon.
