This role will report into Director, Software Development - Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and be able to design, develop, test, and implement solutions for a global organization. Skillsoft is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 to analyze, architect, and assist in the implementation of Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions. To be successful in this role, as the cloud solution architect you should have a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and trends, as well as experience with cloud-based solutions and services. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders. They recommend new solutions and best practices to optimize the cloud adoption/framework design Staying up-to-date with new technologies: Keeps up-to-date with new cloud technologies and tools and evaluates their potential benefits to the organization. Other specific job responsibilities include:ĭevelop the organization's cloud computing architecture, including the design of cloud-based solutions and servicesĭefine cloud computing standards, policies, and procedures.Ĭonfiguring cloud services: Managing the configuration of cloud services such as virtual machines, databases, load balancers, and storage.Ĭonduct research and evaluate new cloud technologies to determine their potential use in the organization.Ĭollaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud-based solutionsĬollaborating with other IT teams: The cloud architect works closely with other IT teams, such as developers, network engineers, and security professionals, to ensure the cloud infrastructure design integrates seamlessly with the organization's existing IT systems(if this is the solution you and the CA would end up recommending).
Preferred work experience with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deploy, configure, and optimize cloud services to meet the needs of the organization. To work with various stakeholders to determine the organization's cloud computing needs and create a plan to meet those needs. To ensure that the cloud design solution keeps in mind the need to be secure, scalable, and highly available. In this role specifically you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's cloud computing infrastructure and service strategy. We don't do the development, we just create the design for the development. Assist the CSE(cloud solution engineer) in either recommending multiple solution integrators to implement your solution into production or selecting one for them.
Once their deep dive assessment is completed, your role is to analyze and develop and present a future state CAF(cloud adoption framework) in sort of a playbook to deliver to them that they can keep.
